We train our management internally for optimal manning. You must of course want to grow yourself and to develop your environment. Many managers started out as Assistants and moved up successfully in COOLCAT thanks to their input, enthusiasm and personal qualities. people @ COOLCAT
Those who want to move up should avail themselves of some advice and support. That is why we offer full training and career courses, such as the Trainee Course, the Potential Course and COOLCAT College.
The Trainee Course is for the ambitious Sales Staff member who wants to move up to a managerial position in COOLCAT. This course comprises 8 sessions and lasts one year, including a 3-month practical training period. The sessions are supplemented with on-the-job training during which you receive advice and support from your manager.
Are you already on the managerial staff at COOLCAT? Do you think you are ready for more responsibilities and does management agree? Then you are eligible for the Potential Course. This is a training course to measure, for which there is no fixed time period.
In COOLCAT College, we organise management workshops (such as recruitment and selection training, communication training and a training course on planning and organising) at least twice a year. Our managers can sign up as they wish.
At COOLCAT we offer practical training and on-the-job training positions for BOL and BBL students [school- and apprenticeship-based schemes]. We are accredited by the Kennis Centrum Handel (Trade Knowledge Centre) as practical training company for all levels of your studies, where you can put the instructional material directly to practice by combining working with learning. The Store Manager will provide advice and guidance for your practical tasks. She/he has undergone specific training for that purpose.
In addition, it is even possible to earn an MBO or HBO diploma (intermediate or higher vocational education respectively). These courses will help you perform even better in your current job.
